society. People with diverse backgrounds from all over the world keep their native cultures and enjoy other cultural benefits
at the same time. Chinese culture with its impressive achievements in history and its unique cultural system has already become an
important component of American multi-cultural society.
Being
subject to the large and multi-media corporation, the Rhythm Media Group (DTA the China Press), Chinese Culture
Development Center (CCDC) provides cultural services with Chinese communities for many years. Located in the main
Chinese residential city, Alhambra, CCDC takes advantages of its well-developed facilities (i.e. conference
room, exhibition hall, multi-purpose entertainment room, bookstore, library and etc.) to serve local communities distinctively,
which brings CCDC (total area of 70,000 squire feet) the reputation of the most important Chinese culture center
in the Great Los Angeles area. CCDC
works on multicultural communication between Chinese communities and the mainstream society in the United States and also
helps to promote the communication between China and the U.S. CCDC is providing all-round and latest information of Chinese
market, which includes culture, education, technology, and so on. Based on a long-term constant endeavor, CCDC has
been recognizing by the American mainstream society and Chinese communities as a significant platform for international
cooperation and cross-cultural communications between China and the U.S. Supported by the China Press, a large daily Mandarin Chinese newspaper circulated in
the U.S., CCDC runs its regular work on organizing art performances, scholar lectures, cultural exhibitions, and so on.
CCDC has currently extended its services to advance Chinese language education in the U.S. and has established stable cooperation with relevant local and international governments.
